Martha OraNell Conn Moore 86 of Ethelsville, AL passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 at her residence. Visitation will be Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Lammons officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Moore was born April 3, 1928 in Lamar County, AL to the late Rady Ladus and Mertie Perkins Conn and moved to Columbus 10 years ago. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and a housewife. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband - William John Moore; son - John Curtis Moore; brothers - Odell Conn and Choice Conn; sister - Rammie Hutcherson. Mrs. Moore is survived by her daughter - Carolyn Forrester, Ethelsville, AL; sons - Billy Moore, Magee, MS and Terry Moore, Columbus, MS; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Terence Moore, Christopher Moore, Lane Moore, Tyler Moore, Matthew Beamer and Nicholas Forrester. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Ables, Tommy Prestridge, Chris Sansing, Danny Johnson, Staff of Amedisys Hospice, Larry Forrester, Men of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and Dr. Barton Williams.
