Ottis Glen "Slim" Hall Ottis Glen "Slim" Hall, 76 of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – GT, Columbus, MS. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 2 PM at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Millport, AL with Bro. Steve Brown officiating; Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mr. Hall was born April 26, 1934 in Ethelsville, AL to the late Rufus and Vera Sansing Hall. He was a lifetime resident of Columbus, MS. Mr. Hall retired in 1987 from Ellis Construction as a truck driver with 20 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a lifetime member of the D.A.V. Mr. Hall loved horses, people, music, gardening and drinking coffee at the Huddle House. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters – Louise Miller, Pauline Robertson, Ester Junkin; brothers – Frelon Hall and Jim Hall. Mr. Hall is survived by his wife, Jackie Hall, Columbus, MS; daughters, Cheri K. Hall, Meridian, MS; Pam Beasley, Columbus, MS; son, Rocky Glen Hall, Crestview, FL; sisters, Geneva Bell, Columbus, MS; Mary Alice Shaw Hudson, Millport, AL; brothers, Richard Hall, Columbus, MS; Lynn Hall, Coalfire, AL; Mack Hall, Millport, AL; Clarence Hall, Columbus, MS; grandchildren, Lindsey Beasley, Wesley Hall and his favorite pets, Shadow and Lucky. Pallbearers will be Allen Hall, Roger Shaw, Jimmy May, Johnny Miller, Kenny Fields, Brent Hall and Nate Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Baucom, Leonard Newman and Willie Lawson.
