Mrs. Ouida Nell Turner, 73, of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS. Visitation will be Friday, August 21, 2015 from 10am to 11am at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Mrs. Turner was born October 23, 1941 to the late Homer Weeks and Agnes Bassett Flowers in Coffee County, AL. She was a truck driver for five years and a cashier for Jim Wallace Service station for 15 years. She enjoyed crafts, pottery, cooking, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband-Jimmy Turner. Mrs. Turner is survived by her son-Timmy (Jaye) Booth; daughter-Tammy Babb; grandchildren-Kara (Jesse) Howard; Gary Booth; Christina Vittetoe; Taylor Babb; great-grandchild-Lane Howard; brother-Doug (Roberta) Weeks; and sister-Lillian (Preston) Hughes.
