Ozell White DiCicco Sansing, 89 of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at her residence. Visitation will be Thursday, January 10, 2013, from 6 – 8PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be Friday, January 11, 2013, at 11AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS with Pastor and Mrs. Randall Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Beersheba Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mrs. Sansing was born February 3, 1923, in Verona, MS to the late John and Celie Ann Clement White. She was a resident of Columbus, MS most of her life and was a homemaker. Mrs. Sansing was a member of River of Life Community Church, Columbus, MS. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sansing is preceded in death by her first husband – Philip DiCicco; her husband of over 41 years – Leon Sansing, daughter – Sharon Rose Sansing, and son – Paul DiCicco. Mrs. Sansing is survived by her sons – John DiCicco, Columbus, MS, Michael (Donna) Sansing, Columbus, MS, Stephen Sansing, Knoxville, TN; daughters – Jean DiCicco Taylor, Columbus, MS, Janice Sansing (John) Thompson, Knoxville, TN, Deborah Sansing (Johnny) Dye, Columbus, MS; sisters – Marie (David) Inman, West Point, MS, Mary Lou (Chuck) Boyd, Pensacola, FL; brother – JT (Dean) White, Columbus, MS; grandchildren – Robbie (Jenny) Taylor, Phillip DiCicco, Traci (Shane) Watkins, Christopher (Lara) Sansing, Matthew Dye; great grandchildren – Cross Taylor, Maggie Taylor, Ashton Taylor, Allie Rose Sansing, Aaron Christopher Sansing, Anna Katherine Sansing, Jackson Paul DiCicco, and Liam Shane Watkins. Pallbearers will be Johnny Dye, John Thompson, Robbie Taylor, Phillip DiCicco, Christopher Sansing, and Shane Watkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be JT White and sons, Laverne Sansing, James Sansing, Joe Sansing, Jack Schamel, Bill Watkins, Dale Reese, Rev. Curtis Petrey, Newton Guerry, Bill Guerry, Matthew Dye, Bob Taylor, and Rev. Johnny Autry.
