Paige McAllister, 54, of Hamilton, MS passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Visitation will be Monday, October 23, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Allen Martin officiating. Interment will be at New Prospect Cemetery, Lackey, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.
Paige graduated from Vernon High School in 1986. She worked in medical clinics most of her adult life and was employed with Allegro Family Clinic until her death. Paige spent most of her time on this earth being a devoted Christian, a devoted wife to Joe "Bubba" McAllister, a loving mom, grandmother, sister, aunt, and an amazing friend. She was everyone's friend and made everyone happy. Paige loved spending time with her family and friends. The world was a better place with her in it and heaven is very fortunate to have gained such an angel to sing in the heavenly choir.
Paige is survived by her parents- Ray and Judy Oglesby; grandmother- Frances Garnett; husband- Joe "Bubba" McAllister; sons- Matthew Barnes and Trey McAllister; daughter- Kasey (Willie) Bowling; sister- Angie Stockman; brother- Swane "Bubba" Angle; grandson- Will Bowling; granddaughter- Mahayla Bowling; special nieces- Callie Johnston, Lexie Angle, Brodie Angle, Nikki Hanna and Chasity Sullivan- who loved her dearly; and her "ride or die best friend"- Jennifer Tilley also known as Louise of Thelma and Louise and we all know who Louise is; and her sweet companion- Izzy.
Pallbearers will be Larry Slosky, Jason Lucas, John Sullivan, Lucas Boyd, Shane Oglesby, and Matthew Barnes. Honorary Pallbearers will be Porky Russell, Justin Lucas, Robby Tilley, Keith Pennington, Bryan Windle, Brody Snider, Bruce Johnston, Employees of Allegro Family Clinics, and Chris Crawley's Sunday School Class.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Oncology of Tupelo and the late Dr. Montgomery; Baptist Hospice and her special nurses Candace and CNA Janeen.
