Pamela Jane Robinson Easley, age 67, of Caledonia, MS, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020, at her residence. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at Lowndes Funeral Home in Columbus, MS, at 2:00 PM with Bro. Don Harding officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Following the funeral, a private family graveside service will be held at Robinson Family Cemetery, in Caledonia, MS.
Pam was born May 16, 1952, in Columbus, Mississippi to Laurene and Elbert Robinson. She graduated from Caledonia High School in 1970 where she was Homecoming Queen and escorted by her long-time friend Charlie Egger. She graduated from the Mississippi University for Women and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and was employed at several local hospitals as a registered nurse.
On July 25 th , 1992, Pam married Chuck Easley in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands and made a life together with their children in Caledonia, MS. She loved her family land and her ancestral home and was a lifelong animal lover and an avid collector of antiques. For many years, she and her sisters, Martha Goolsby and Diane Pounders operated 3 Sisters Antiques in Caledonia, MS.
Pam was preceded in death by her father James Elbert Robinson; paternal grandparents Annie Louise Robinson and Elbert Lavert Robinson; maternal grandparents Annie Maude Kidd and William Maborn Kidd.
She leaves behind her husband Chuck Easley of Caledonia; her mother Laurene Kidd Robinson of Caledonia; her sister Martha Robinson Goolsby (James Earl) of Caledonia; her sister Diane Robinson Pounders (Kenneth) of Caledonia; her son Chris Fowlkes (Sandy) of Caledonia; her daughter Lindsey Nicholson (Jason) of Caledonia, her daughter Ali Mara Easley (Austin Haney) of Caledonia; and her five grandchildren Madelyn and Paxton Fowlkes and Hugh, Laurel, and Adelyn Nicholson.
Pallbearers include Mr. Brad Goolsby of Pittsboro, NC; Mr. James Earl Goolsby of Caledonia, MS; Mr. Scott Goolsby of Caledonia, MS; Mr. Ashley Pounders of Caledonia, MS; Mr. Kenneth Pounders of Caledonia, MS; Mr. Wesley Pounders of Pensacola, FL; Mr. Mark Vaughn of New Orleans, LA; Mr. Tony Vernon of Caledonia, MS; and Mr. Austin Haney of Tupelo, MS.
Honorary pallbearers are Mr. Mike Fowlkes of Caledonia, MS; Mr. Jason Nicholson of Caledonia, MS; Mr. Jay Vernon of Caledonia, MS; Mr. Douglas Holliman of Caledonia, MS; Mr. Tim Murphy of Caledonia; Mr. Dale Duncan of Caledonia; Mr. Avery Duncan of Caledonia; Mr. Brett Kidd of Kennesaw, GA; and the men of Kolola Springs Baptist Church.
