Mrs. Patricia "Pat" Freeman, 77, of Caledonia, MS, passed away on October 24, 2023, at her residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 28, from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS, Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS. Interment will be at Rowan Cemetery, Steens, MS.

Mrs. Freeman was born September 17, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Charlotte Senn Mooney and Robert Mooney. Mrs. Freeman was of Baptist Faith and was a faithful member of Kolola Springs Baptist Church in Caledonia, MS. Mrs. Freeman was a cafeteria worker for many years. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and crocheting, and she loved spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Freeman was a member of The Gold Star Mothers and volunteered at Life Choices. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Freeman is preceded in death by her husband- Howard Freeman; daughter- Hollie Freeman; sons- Matt Freeman and SSG Brian Freeman.

Mrs. Freeman is survived by her daughter- Lisa (Mark) Nichols; grandchild- Bradley (Kelsey) Thomas, and Hawk Reed; great-grandchildren- Grayson Thomas, and Hadley Thomas; sister- Karen (Rick) Merryman; and daughter-in-law- Leah Freeman Reed and a host of special friends.

Pallbearers will be – Mike Campbell, Steve Speights, Charles Parker, Bradley Thomas, Mark Nichols, and Rick Merryman. Honorary Pallbearers will be – Greg Ballard, Chris Harding, David Harding, and Kolola Springs Senior Adult Sunday School Class.
