Patricia Jean Powers, 64 of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Aurora Australis Lodge, Columbus, MS.
Services will be held at a later date. Entombment will be in Montecito Memorial Park, Colton, CA. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS is in charge of local arrangements.
Mrs. Powers was born December 2, 1946 in Haver Hill, MA to the late Raymond and Dorothy Toshach Brackett and was a resident of Columbus, MS for the past 24 years having moved from California. She was retired and loved baseball. Mrs. Powers was of the Jehovah?s Witness faith and a member of Kingdom Hall, Columbus, MS.
Mrs. Powers is survived by her daughter, Michelle Gonzales, Colton, CA; sons, Frederick Lanz, Colton, CA; Kenneth L. Powers, Tampa, FL; sisters, Joyce McGhee, Mineral Springs, AR; Alice Wheatley, Yucaipa, CA; Sandra Robinson, Columbus, MS; brothers, Raymond Brackett, Eagle Point, OR; Robert Brackett, Bakersfield, CA and 11 grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Aurora Australis Lodge, 310 Emerald Dr., Columbus, MS 39702.
