Patsy "Pat" McCarty, 80, of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020, at her residence.

A graveside service will be Monday, November 2, 2020, at 1:00 PM at Providence Cemetery, Chester, MS with Bro. Tommy Gillon officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mrs. McCarty was born on August 18, 1940, in Vardaman, MS to the late Clara Mae Morris and Harold "HK" K. Morris. She attended Fairview Baptist Church. Mrs. McCarty enjoyed crocheting and walking her dog- Leah. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McCarty is preceded in death by her husband- James Lewis McCarty; daughter- Amanda McCarty; brothers- Jessie Morris and Carl Morris; and sister- Nell Carlisle.

Mrs. McCarty is survived by her sons- David McCarty of Columbus, MS and James McCarty of Pearl, MS; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother- Ellis (Geneva) Morris; and sister- Sue Kellum.

Pallbearers will be Nathan McCarty, Gabriel McCarty, Jacob McCarty, Matthew McCarty, and Randy Wilson.
