Paul "Goober" D. Beasley, 81, of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, May 21, 20,19 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT.

Graveside service will be Thursday, May 23, 2019, at 3 PM at Beersheba Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Ray officiating.

Mr.Beasley was born May 16, 1938, in Lamar County, AL to the late Frances and John Beasley. He worked in the concrete/ construction for 50 years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Beasley is preceded in death by his brother- J L Beasley and sister- Sandra Beasley.

Mr. Beasley is survived by his wife- Mary Jo Beasley, Columbus, MS; children- Wayne Beasley, Columbus, MS, and Harold (Marsha) Beasley, Millport, AL; brothers- Charlie (Doris) Beasley, Columbus, MS and Frankie (Francis) Beasley, Vernon, AL; grandchildren- Morgan and Landon Beasley.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Wiegel, Danny Guin, Ronnie Owens, Tim Richards, Scott Oglesby, Ray Phelps, Walter Owens, and Dexter Turner. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Chain, Dale Hallman, Landon Beasley, and Devin Wyers.
