Paul Edward Brown, Sr

Paul Edward Brown, Sr., 88, of Columbus, MS, passed on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

Per his request, there will be no funeral service. The family will have a Celebration of Life at Paul Jr.’s house Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Mr. Brown was born April 8, 1938, in Columbus, MS, to the late Katie B. McCullough MacDonald. He retired after working at Omnova for 35 years as an inspector. Mr. Brown served in the United States Air Force. In addition to his mother, Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his wife, Rita Sue Lawson Brown, and brother, Charles David Brown.

Mr. Brown is survived by his children; Paul (Michelle) Brown, Jr., Paula (Darrell) Gregory, Frank (Debbie) Craig, Billy (Carla) Craig, and Scott (Alma) Brown; grandchildren: Drake Gregory, Misty Duckworth, Nikki Frost, Taylor Johnson, Colin Craig, Tanner Craig, Chandler Craig, Jonathan Brown, and Dulce Rodriguez; and great-grandchildren: Eva Grace Gregory, Nolan Gregory, Lainey Gregory, Raynes Frost, Zoey Johnson, Caroline Johnson, Wells Duckworth, Emmalyn Abney, and Ansley Abney.
