Mr. Paul Curry, age 77, of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018, at his residence.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018, from 2:00 – 3:00 PM at Caledonia Church of Christ, in Caledonia, MS. A funeral service will follow on Sunday, September 23, 2018, at 3:00 PM at the Caledonia Church of Christ with Mr. Sonny McClellen officiating and Mr. Ferrell Hester assisting. Interment will be at Christian Chapel Cemetery, Millport, AL.

Mr. Curry was born on June 30, 1941, in Millport, AL to the late Golden and Ruby Curry. He worked as a commercial contractor and homebuilder for his own company Curry, Inc. and Curry Homebuilders. Mr. Curry enjoyed going to his camp house, fishing, farming, gardening, hunting, Alabama football, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He loved his church and being active in the church. Mr. Curry was fortunate to be able to rebuild the Caledonia Church of Christ in Caledonia after the tornado. In addition to his parents, Mr. Curry was preceded in death by his sisters- Doris Vandiver, Dorothy Prater, and Girthel Wheeler.

Mr. Curry is survived by his wife of 57 years- Linda Curry of Columbus, MS; daughter- Tracee Curry of Columbus, MS; son- Steve Curry of Caledonia, MS; brothers and sisters- Chapple Johnson of Kennedy, AL, Lavola (Donald) Rector of Vernon, AL, Elaine (Arnold) McDaniel of Verbena, AL, Shannon Davis of Millport, AL, and Foy (Peggy) Curry of Millport, AL; and 2 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Danny Weathers, Russ Taylor, Blake Koenigsberger, Bryan Cox, Terry Brumley, and Gary Collins. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Brigham and the Men of Caledonia Church of Christ.

Memorials may be made to the Caledonia Church of Christ.
