Paula Sue Atkins Ashcraft Beard, 62, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, December 29, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - GT. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 1, 2015 from 2-4PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Ms. Beard was born March 26, 1952 in Columbus, MS to the late Lewis Donald and Gracie Ann Speed Atkins. She loved her kids and grandkids. Mrs. Beard was of the Methodist faith. She also enjoyed working with her flowers. Ms. Beard is survived by daughter - Amber Burnett, Columbus, MS; son - Billy (Courtney) Ashcraft, Meridian, MS; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 1 brother; and 2 sisters
