Peggy Turner Kellum, 75, of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020, at her residence.

Visitation will be  Monday, February 3, 2020, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will be Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS with Bro. Tommy Gillon and Bro. Kevin Jenkins officiating. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Kellum was born December 8, 1944, in Moorehead, MS to the late Mary Adams and Marshall Turner. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Columbus, MS for many years. Mrs. Kellum worked in banking for over 38 years having worked for First Columbus Bank, First Federal Bank, National Bank of Commerce and Cadence Bank. She loved cooking and spending time with her family. Mrs. Kellum enjoyed reading and watching Ole Miss football. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband- Jimmy Doyle Kellum, Sr.; sister- Patsy Enlow; brothers- Howard Turner, Boyd Turner and James Marshall Turner.

Mrs. Kellum is survived by her son- Jim (Melissa) Kellum, Jr. of Caledonia, MS; daughters- Mendy (Tim) Beatty, Melony (Wes) Beard, Marlaina (Mike) Drummond all of Columbus, MS; grandchildren- Shelbie Kellum, Emily Kellum, Sasha Drummond, Dillon (Lindsey) Beard, Dawson Beard, Dallas Beard; great-grandchild- Jesse Beard; sisters- Carolyn (Leroy) Atkins, Linda Williamson.

Pallbearers will be Dillon Beard, Dawson Beard, Dallas Beard, Mike Beatty, Jeff Kellum, Tony Turner.
