Peggy Ann Lowery. 81, of Columbus, MS, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025, at her residence.

Ms. Lowery was born August 23, 1944, in Monticello, AR, to the late Margaret McPherson Lowery and Thomas Onzie Lowery. She worked as a security guard for Johnson Tombigbee for many years. In addition to her parents, Ms. Lowery is preceded in death by her son, Devin Cagle.

Ms. Lowery is survived by her daughter- Michelle Artus and Yolanda Lancaster; sister- Linda Haley; grandchildren- Mary Jones, Megan Jones, Dillon Jones, Samantha Artus, Carson Artus, and Ashley Langford; great grandchildren- Arysah Napier, Abram Aldridge, Chevy Aldridge, Macy Aldridge, Coby Thurman, Nevaeh Weier, Maya Weier, David Jones, Paisley Artus, Carl Langford, Joseph Langford, and Ethan Langford.
