Pernell Ellis, 79, of Columbus, MS passed away February 20, 2015 at Trinity Place Personal Care, Columbus, MS. Lowndes Funeral Home and Crematory of Columbus, MS is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Ellis was born April, 10, 1935 to the late Nellie Arnold and Elzey Ellis in Choctaw County, MS. She was a Registered Nurse and worked for the State of Louisiana for many years. Mrs. Ellis moved to Columbus, MS from Vidalia, Louisiana 2 years ago. She was of the Episcopal faith. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sons- Mike Sugg and John Sugg. Mrs. Ellis is survived by son- James G. (Terrie) Sugg of Caledonia, MS and grandson- Jamie L. Sugg.
