Phillip Dale Ferguson, 65, of Columbus, MS passed away Friday, September 11, 2020, at UAB.

A graveside service will be held Monday, September 14, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Ferguson was born on November 15, 1954, in Columbus, MS to the late Ruby Shephard Ferguson and Charlie Dean Ferguson. He was a member at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, an avid motorcyclist, and a fisherman. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ferguson is preceded in death by his brothers- Larry Ferguson of Columbus, MS, Cameron Ferguson of Millport, AL, and Charles Ricky Ferguson; Maternal Grandfather- Grady Shephard; Maternal Grandmother- Velma Owens Shepard; Paternal Grandfather- William James Ferguson and Paternal Grandmother- Lillie McReynolds Ferguson.

Mr. Ferguson is survived by his sisters- Vickie Benoist of Starkville, MS, Patricia Ann (Eugene) Barton of Ethelsville, AL, and Kay Anderson of Columbus, MS; brother- James Ferguson of Columbus, MS; 23 nieces and nephews and 50 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Hope, Chris Hope, Michael Hope, Eric Ferguson, Jeff Hope, and Perry Richardson.
