Phillip Ramond Lovell, Jr.  51, of Columbus, MS, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at UAB in Birmingham, Alabama.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 10:00 Am -12:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Service will be Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS with Bro. Kevin McDaniel officiating.

Mr. Lovell was born September 15, 1972, at Patrick Air Force Base in  Florida to Phillip Ramond Lovell, Sr., and Marjorie Ann Hardesty Lovell. Mr. Lovell managed multiple hotels in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi, his latest being the Comfort Inn and Suites in Columbus, MS. He was a computer whiz and jokester. Mr. Lovell loved to read all kinds of books and loved watching movies. Mr. Lovell is preceded in death by his grandparents- Argus and Ozella Lovell, and Ruth Hardesty, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mr. Lovell is survived by his father- Phillip Ramond Lovell, Sr.; mother- Marjorie Ann Hardesty Lovell; brother- Brian Thomas Lovell; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; long-time friends – Jeff and Susanne Cunningham and their family; and the staff and employees at Comfort Inn and Suites.
