Prapai Harris, 80, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, March 21, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS.

A visitation will be held Thursday, March 24, 2016, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Harris was born April 20, 1935, to the late Hong Chew in Thailand. As an announcer, she was one of the first women to serve in the Thai Navy. As a Thai native, she and her husband were married in Thailand. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years-Lloyd Tyler Harris.

Mrs. Harris is survived by her sons-Rungsarit "Ron" Harris, Depew, NY and Kunakorn "Bee" Harris, San Diego, CA; 2 brothers, and 1 sister.
