Quilla Faye Everett, 75, of Columbus, MS passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Trinity Health Care in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. Service will be Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Columbus, MS with Bro Ty Danielson and Bro. Steve Lammons officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Mrs. Everett was born February 6, 1948, in Newton, MS, to the late Simmons Dean and Grace Montgomery Dean. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Columbus, MS where she was much involved and volunteered to help and cook for all functions.  Mrs. Everett was a genuine Southern lady. She loved everyone like family and everyone who knew her loved her in return. Mrs. Everett was always busy taking care of not only her 3 girls, sons-in-law, husband, and 4 grandkids but everyone she knew.  Mrs. Everett loved crocheting and cooking. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Everett is preceded in death by her brother- John Dean.

Mrs. Everett is survived by her husband- Charles Everett, daughters- Becky (Keith) Hayes, Carol (Patrick) James, and Christy (Doug) Cox; grandchildren- Cooper James, Katie Hayes, Molly James, and Marley Cox; brother- Mark (Tina) Dean; nieces- McKenna Dean, and Kelly Dean; and nephew- Michael Dean.

Pallbearers will be Doug Cox, Patrick James, Keith Hayes, Cooper James, Greg Uhl, Chris Bray, Scott Kinard, and Steve Little. Honorary Pallbearers – Lamar Smith, Emanuel Betros, Henry McQueen, Billy Holley, Boyd Hill, and Buddy Blaxton.
