Randolph "Putz" Putnam, 67, of Columbus, MS, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at his residence.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Caledonia Open Door Worship Center, Caledonia, MS. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 PM with Bro. Randy Holmes officiating and Bro. Mike Dalton assisting at Caledonia Open Door Worship Center. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus MS.

Mr. Putnam was born May 8, 1948 to the late Raymond J. E. Putnam and Barbara Marie Palmer Erdman in Belleville Ontario, Canada. He was a SMSGT in the United States Air Force, where he retired after 21 years of service. Mr. Putnam also worked in Civil Service in the Quality Assurance department for 24 years. He had a passion for motorcycles and was a member of several motorcycle clubs, including Green Knights and Columbus Air Riders Association motorcycle club. In addition, Mr. Putman loved NASCAR and was especially a Dale Earnhardt fan. He loved entertaining children, dressing up like Santa Claus, and raising money for various children's organizations. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-Ridgley E. J. Putnam.

Mr. Putnam is survived by his wife-Cynthia "Cindy" Putnam, Columbus, MS; son-Ryan Putnam, North Las Vegas, NV; and daughter-Amanda Putnam, Columbus, MS.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Trent Senneff, Bobby Brown, Kenny McDaniels, Jeremy Robertson, and Jeff Dallhaus .
