Randall Thomas "Randy" Stewart II, age 68, of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018, at his residence.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Bro. Ralph Windle officiating and Bro. Steve Lammons assisting. Interment will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Stewart was born on November 10, 1949, in San Angelo, TX to the late Randall and Virginia Goolsby Stewart. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. Mr. Stewart worked at University of Southern Mississippi, University of Alabama and Mississippi University for Women as a professor. He was an accomplished musician and singer who wrote his own music. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother- Bobby Drake and his sister- Jane Pace.

Mr. Stewart is survived by his wife- Charline Nicholas Stewart of Columbus, MS; brother- Perry (Tinker) Stewart of Brazoria, TX; nieces- Lauren, and Hillary.

Pallbearers will be Ray Crane, Jimmy Wilkinson, David Dortch, Ronnie Colburn, Gerry Burnett, Brian Custard, and Allen Crane. Honorary pallbearers will be Walt Moseley, John Beard, Ken Custard, Bobby Brandon, Ralph Youngblood, and Trenton Sheffield.
