Raymond Lewis Guy, age 70, of Caledonia, MS passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at New Salem Baptist Church, Caledonia, MS. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at 10:00 AM at New Salem Baptist Church with Bro. Mel Howton officiating and Sammy Crawford assisting. Interment will be in Egger Cemetery, Caledonia, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Guy was born on July 2, 1947, in Idaho to the late Lanon Lewis and Marsell Hudson Guy. He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church, Caledonia, MS. Mr. Guy worked as a handyman doing construction for over 10 years. He enjoyed doing yard work, especially cutting his grass. Mr. Guy also enjoyed playing with his grandsons, nephews and the kids from across the street. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife- Johnnie McDaniel Guy, and his brother- Roger Guy.

Mr. Guy is survived by his daughter- Jennifer (Josh) Gregory of Springhill, TN; grandson- Luke Gregory; brother-in-law and sister-in-laws- Lamar (Connie) Jones; Tommy (Mary) Spruill, Bill (Marilyn) Andrews, Sallye Wright, and Lona Southerland; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be nephews, great-nephews, great-great nephews, and Grey Youngblood.

Memorials may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
