Rebecca Ann Spencer, 73, of Columbus, MS, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- GT in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 1:00 PM- 2:00 PM at CrossPoint Church, 2274 Yorkville Road, Columbus, MS. Service will be on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM at CrossPoint Church.

Mrs. Spencer was born March 30, 1950, in West Point, MS, to the late William B. Melton, Jr. and Hazel R. Speakes Compere. Mrs. Spencer worked in the medical field for over 30 years. She was a nurse for many years and was a massage therapist in Columbus, MS. Mrs. Spencer attended Living Faith Tabernacle and enjoyed playing the organ. She was an avid animal lover. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Spencer is preceded in death by her husband-Chris Spencer; adopted mother- Mae Crane; sisters- Louise Hall and Glenda Scallions; and brother- Larry Melton.

Mrs. Spencer is survived by her sons- Cory (Amy) Richardson, Bobby (Amy) Richardson, Denver (Lyndsi Blair) Wartes; sister- Deborah Kay (David) Harrington; grandchildren- James "Robby" Richardson, Austin (Randah) Richardson, Taylor (Madison) Richardson, Laurel Richardson, Garrett Richardson, Kacie Blair; great-grandchildren- Landyn Richardson, Easton Richardson, Maxton Richardson, and Hailey Richardson.
