Reda Logan Guin, 76, of Steens, MS passed away Friday, January 27, 2017, at her residence.

Visitation was Monday, January 30, 2017, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A Funeral Service followed at 11:00 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Larry Montgomery officiating. Interment was in Lone Oak Cemetery, Steens, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Guin was born March 13, 1940, to the late James "Cliff" and Irene Robertson Logan in Steens, MS. She enjoyed taking care of her family and was a member of Steens Church of Christ, Steens, MS. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband-James W. Guin, Sr.; her brother-Rayburn Logan; and sister-Evelyn Johnson.

Mrs. Guin is survived by her son-James (Mary) Guin, Jr., Steens, MS; daughter-Janice Guin, Steens, MS; grandchildren-Jaylyn Sevier and Jeramiah Sevier; and brother-James Logan.

Pallbearers were Allen Jones, Danny Johnson, David Johnson, Pete Bowan, Melvin Easley, Greg Wheat, Brent Mitchell, and Robert Evans. Honorary Pallbearers were Men of Steens Church of Christ, Wyman Mason, Elbert Wheat, and Richie Wilson.
