Reed Andrews Lucian Reed Andrews, 46 of Hamilton, MS passed away, Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. Visitation for Mr. Andrews will be Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services for Mr. Andrews will be Friday, April 27, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ben Butler officiating and Bro. Jaron Andrews assisting. Interment will be in Egger Cemetery, Caledonia, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mr. Andrews was born December 6, 1965 in Doster Hospital, Columbus, MS to Warren Dwight and Annie Grace Junkin Andrews. He lived in the Lowndes County and Monroe County his entire life. Mr. Andrews attended Caledonia United Methodist Church, Caledonia, MS and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. He graduated from New Hope High School where he was a part of the 1984 State Championship Baseball Team, after high school he continued playing baseball at East Mississippi Community College, Scooba, MS. Mr. Andrews was employed at Columbus Rubber and Gasket as inside salesman for 15 years before his illness. He played acoustical guitar with several local bands, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a member of the Lowndes County Cattlemen's Association. His will to live was driven by his wife and to see his children grow-up and succeed in life. Mr. Andrews is survived by his wife - Kellie Andrews, Hamilton, MS, daughter - Mollie Kate Andrews, Hamilton, MS , son - Will Andrews, Hamilton, MS, parents - Dwight and Ann Andrews, Columbus, MS, sister - Sonia (Johnny) Patchen, Kennedy, AL, brothers - Tim (Carolyn) Andrews, Ethelsville, AL and Dave (DeeDee) Andrews, Columbus, MS and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Robbie Mitchell, Myron Atkins, Eric Sularin, Kurt Ash, William Darnell, Lawrence Darnell, Wayne Studdard, Jr. and John Leslie Hall. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Perkins, Billy Kerstetter and current and former employees of Columbus Rubber and Gasket, Staff at Hematology and Oncology at Bridgepoint, New Hope Class of 1985, Scottie Farrell and former band members.
