Regger Hamilton, Jr., 75, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, February 15, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS.

Per Mr. Hamilton's request, no services will be held.

Mr. Hamilton was born September 11, 1940, to the late Regger Hamilton, Sr. and Eva Deaton Hamilton in Moorhead, MS.  He moved to Columbus from Great Falls, MT in 1980. Mr. Hamilton married the former Carolyn Williamson, and they have been members of Tabernacle United Methodist church for a number of years. A veteran of the military, Mr. Hamilton served in both the United States Army and Air Force. He was also part of the maintenance crew for the Columbus Municipal School District for 20 years. Mr. Hamilton's favorite past times were hunting and playing golf.

He is survived by his wife-Carolyn Williamson Hamilton, Columbus, MS; daughter-Sarah E. Grant (Joe), Sunset, UT; grandchild-Amanda (Brent) Lewis, Syracuse, UT; great-grandchild-Cody Lewis;  sisters-Andrea Stanley and Leisa (Lee) Grant, both of Amory, MS; brothers- Steven D. Esquivel, Biloxi, MS,  Scottie Gilliand, KY and Joe (Nancy) Hamilton, Mantee, MS.
