Jobie Richard Hall, 90, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, October 23, 2017, at his residence.

A graveside service will be held Friday, October 27, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Bro. Ralph Windle officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Hall was born May 15, 1927, in Millport, AL to the late Rufus and Vera Sansing Hall. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Mr. Hall worked as a finishing room foreman at Johnson Tombigbee for 33 years.

Mr. Hall is survived by his wife- Ruby Zell Hall of Columbus, MS; daughter- Ruby (Ernest) Peters of Grants Pass, OR; grandchild- David (Jen) Peters; great-grandchildren- Natasha Peters and Madison Peters; step-great-grandchildren- Madi Tebaldi and Hailey Tebaldi; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
