Charles Richard "Hutch" Hutcherson, 78, of Columbus, MS, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Windsor Place, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM, Friday, November 18, 2022, at Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS.  A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Bro. Charlie Whitney and Bro. Tommy Gillon officiating, and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.  The interment will be at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Columbus, MS.

Mr. Hutcherson was born on December 30, 1943, in Noxubee County, Ms, to the late Sadie Louise Hutcherson and William "Bill" Odell Hutcherson.  He worked for Walmart, in retail sales and management, for fifteen years.  Mr. Hutcherson enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a member of the Andrews Hunting Club. He also enjoyed woodworking.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Hutcherson is preceded in death by his brother – Jimmy Earl Hutcherson.

He is survived by his wife – Paulette Von Kanel Hutcherson; daughter – Alicia (Greg) Andrews; grandchild – Austin Andrews; brother – James "Sonny" Hutcherson; and sister – Janice Bryan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Brett Brown, the staff of Philwood Suites at Windsor Nursing Home, and Steve Smith Life Group at Fairview Baptist Church.
