Richard Perrigin

Richard Perrigin, 60 of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 in the Lowndes Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Annie Edwards officiating. Interment will be at Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Perrigin was born May 18, 1966, in Kankakee, IL to the late Claude Perrigin and Ruby Greene Perrigin. He attended True Gospel Church, Columbus, MS and Beautiful Life Adult Day Care. Mr. Perrigin enjoyed fishing, but his favorite pastime was watching TV especially The Price is Right, Doctor Quinn Medicine Women, Family Feud and other game shows. In addition to his parents, Mr. Perrigin was preceded in death by his sister – Ruby Gund and his brother – Clyde Perrigan.

Mr. Perrigin is survived by his 4 sisters – Jane (William) Brown, Columbus, MS, Betty (Bob) Spence, Bourbonnais, IL, Virginia Perrigin, Ellisville, MS and Christine Porter, West Point, MS; brothers – Michael (Jo Ann) Perrigin, Mahomet, IL and Donnie Perrigin and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers will be Max Porter, Bubba Brown, Jay Collum, Joshua Brown, Octavia, Clyde Edwards and Timmy King.
