Rickey Allen Maxey, 69 of Caledonia, MS passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at his residence.

No services at this time, Lowndes Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Maxey was born July 27, 1950 to the late Charles and Irma Milam Maxey in Indiana.  He married Kathy Pawlicke in Michigan City, IN on November 8, 1969.  Mr. Maxey was the owner of a Rick's Shoe Repair Service in Crown Point,IN and then retired in 2012 as maintenance supervisor at Lake Shore Bone and Joint after 9 years of service. He served on the Coolspring Township, Indiana Fire Department for 7 years.  Mr. Maxey enjoyed wildlife in his retirement.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Maxey was preceded in death by his brothers – Dennis Wayne Maxey and Keith Maxey.

Mr. Maxey is survived by his wife of 50 years – Kathleen "Kathy" Pawlicke Maxey, Caledonia, MS; sons – Chester Maxey and Rodney (Kitty) Maxey; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
