Ricky Lewis Adkins, 33, of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015 at his residence. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 6pm-8pm at Lowndes Funeral Home in Columbus, MS. A funeral service will be Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 3pm in Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bubba Dees and Rev. Bobby Richardson officiating and graveside service to follow at Forest Cemetery in Ethelsville, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mr. Adkins was born November 7, 1981 in Seward, NE to Mr. Ricky Adkins and Mrs. Robin Inez Adkins. He is preceded in death by his stepfather Burl Edward Sellers; grandmother Robin Ladell Sellers; uncle James Perry Thornbrough; great-grandmother Mildred Woods; and uncle Stennis Smith. He is survived by his father Ricky Adkins; his mother Robin Inez Adkins; his daughter Gabriella Robin Adkins; grandmother Sara Adkins; 3 Aunts; 3 Uncles; godmother Kay Browning Patterson; and Special Family Valarie Braddock and Jeffrey Barksdale. Pallbearers will be Johnny Holliman Sr., Johnny Lewis Holliman, Jr., Calvin Wooten, Ed Barham, Montrell Wilson, Larry Truman, and John Hutchins.
