Ricky Charles Nevin, 71, of Columbus, MS, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at his residence.

Graveside will be at Forest Cemetery in Ethelsville, Alabama on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at 2:00 P.M.

Mr. Nevin was born on April 21, 1953, in Columbus, MS, to the late Charles Nevin and Elois Price Nevin. Mr. Nevin worked as a stocker at Kroger for 48 years. He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Ethelsville, Alabama. He enjoyed working in the yard and loved collecting trucks, cars, and model cars. Mr. Nevin was married to his precious wife (Nella) for 46 years.

Mr. Nevin is survived by his wife- Nella Dean Nevin; brothers- Gary Nevin and Todd (Linda) Nevin; and nieces and nephews – Henry, Michelle, Angel, and Noah.

The family wants to thank Legacy Hospice for all their care and compassion during his illness.
