Rita Eileen Moore, 56, of Columbus, MS passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at her residence.

A memorial service will be Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM at New Hope Pentecostal Church with Bro. Jarred Glover officiating.

Mrs. Moore was born on November 20, 1964 in Eupora, MS to the late Ruby Turner and Hugh Bullard. She loved Jesus, enjoyed going to church at New Hope Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Moore enjoyed fishing, riding horses, and loved to cook. She loved spending time with her family, was a caretaker to many of her family members, and enjoyed going out to eat with them. Mrs. Moore worked as a cook at New Hope Café for many years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore is preceded in death by her sister- Shelia Lux, and brother-in-law- Norman Lux.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband- Gary Moore of Columbus, MS; daughter- Patricia Vaughn; sons- Johnny (Victoria Hall) Vaughn, Dale Moore, Matthew Vaughn, Troy Vaughn and Blake (Shanen)Moore; grandchildren- Raylee, Addison, Katie, Faith, and Courageous; sisters- Debbie McCown, Tonya Dora; and brothers- Wesley (Darlene) Bullard, and Robbie Bullard.
