Robert D. "Bob" Wallis, 72, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle.

A Visitation will be Friday, March 08, 2019 at 1:00pm at Lowndes Funeral Home, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00pm in the Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Byron Benson officiating and Chaplain Thurmon Assisting. Lowndes Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Wallis was born December 01, 1946 in Parris Island, SC, to the late Lamar and Margot Wallis. He married Martha Knight Wallis on March 11, 1978 and had worked for TVA, holding several different job titles until his retirement in 1999. A Baptist by faith, he was a Member of East End Baptist Church. He enjoyed Woodworking, Hunting and Fishing.

Mr. Wallis is survived by his wife Martha Wallis, son Robert C. (April) Wallis, Daughter Margot Manuel, Grandchildren: Duncan Wallis, Daisy Grace Wallis, Brandon Durkee and Blake Brinich; and Sister in law Nora (David) Johnson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Leon Foley, Ricky Weathers, Travis Berry, Hank Warden and Jimmy Hood.
