Robert Iria Brownlee, 75, of Columbus, MS, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at the Care Center of Aberdeen in Aberdeen, MS.

Visitation will be Friday, December 29, 2023, from 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be Friday, December 29, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home with Bro. Anthony Prestage officiating.  Interment will be in Ethelsville Baptist Church Cemetery in Ethelsville, Alabama with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mr. Brownlee was born February 4, 1948, in Columbus, MS, to the late Pearl Moore Brownlee and Ira Brownlee. Mr. Brownlee was a mechanic for 51 years. He was Pentecostal of faith. Mr. Brownlee enjoyed hunting, and especially coon hunting. He also enjoyed raising quarter horses and fishing.

Mr. Brownlee is survived by his wife- Charlene Brownlee; sons- Robert (Vickie) Brownlee, Randy (Annette) Brownlee, and Robby Shrimp, step son- Tony (Tarron) Carley, stepdaughter- Angie (Jim) Ayers, 7 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and one sister – Mary Ann Brownlee.

Pallbearers will be Charles Ray, Jay Harris, Eddie Shaw, Bo Harris, Merle Young, and Tom Holliday.
