Robert Lee Corbell, 56 of West Point, MS passed away Friday, January 25, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center, West Point, MS.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 31, 2019, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating.  Interment will be in Furnace Hill Cemetery, Vernon, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing

Mr. Corbell was born May 1, 1962, to the late Thelmon C. and Maria Berndt Corbell in Millport, AL He worked in a janitorial service and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church until his health declined.  Mr. Corbell loved the arts and literary things, he enjoyed going to the library.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 aunts.

Mr. Corbell is survived by his brothers - George (Cynthia) Corbell and Gordon Corbell; sister – Shirley Wheat, Aunts – Eulene Gardner, Elna Hope, Doris Parsons and Judy Miles and Uncle – Dennis Corbell.

Pallbearers will be David Crews, Perry Richardson, Gary Richardson, Jeff Hope, John Sims, and Paul Garrard.  Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Hope, Tim Size and all the Staff & Nurses at West Point Community Living Center.
