Robert "Bob" Jarvis, age 81, of Caledonia, MS passed away Thursday, September 14, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.

Mr. Jarvis was born on March 14, 1937, in Clifton Hills, MO to the late Gale and Marjorie Hill Jarvis. He worked in Civil Service in Quality Control as a contractor for Columbus Air Force Base, Columbus, MS for many years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jarvis was preceded in death by his 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Mr. Jarvis is survived by his wife- Roberta Jarvis of Caledonia, MS; daughter- Deborah Hoffman of Caledonia, MS; sons- Mike Jarvis of Florence, AL, Mark (Elaine) Jarvis of Columbia, MO, Jim McLey of Water Town, SD, Robin Jarvis of Moberly, MO, and Matthew Jarvis of Macon, MO; brother- Victor Jarvis; sister- Ann Derks; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
