Robert Raymond Kain, 70 of Steens, MS passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 at his residence. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Kain was born September 3, 1943 in McCormick, Arkansas to the late Reece Allen and Era Johnson Kain. He moved to Lowndes County 30 years ago. Mr. Kain was a member of East Columbus Church of Christ and also was in the National Guard. He was a farmer for several years, then he worked for Miller Transportation for over 30 years with a hazardous transport certification. Mr. Kain is survived by his wife-Wanda Wakefield Kain; children- Tami Barron, Chip Kain, Robin Robins, Andrew Brown and Jonathan Brown; 12 grandchildren; brothers; Reece Allen Kain, Jr. , William C.Kain and James Kain.
