Robert Lynn Pruett, age 65, of Steens, MS passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS with Bro. Greg Renfroe officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Pruett was born on January 21, 1953, in Clay County, MS to the late Clovis M. Pruitt, Sr. and Lola Rook Pruett. He worked as a painter for many years. Mr. Pruett was a member of First Baptist Church, Steens, MS. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother- Clayton Pruett.

Mr. Pruett is survived by his wife- Sharon Fowler Pruett of Steens, MS; daughter- Stephanie Todd; son- Shane (Ashley) Pruett; sister- Judy (Jim) Riley, and Glenda (Tommy) Riddle; brothers- Clovis (Lucy) Pruett, Jr., and Billy (Martha) Pruett; grandchildren-Josh (Sam) Pruett, Bree Todd, Colton Pruett, and Ashton Pruett; great-grandchild- Nyomi Pruett.

Honorary pallbearers will be Pete Riley, Josh Pruett, Warren Conner, and Chase Conner.
