Robert Charles Wyers, age 65, of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Baptist Princeton Hospital, Birmingham, AL.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2018, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018, at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Matt Moehring and Bro. Jaron Andrews officiating. Interment will be in Community Baptist Church Cemetery with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Wyers was born on December 10, 1952, in Tuscaloosa, AL to the late Robert H. Wyers and Henritta Johnson Wyers. He was a truck driver for 31 years. Mr. Wyers was an avid Alabama football fan and enjoyed watching the games with family. He loved to grill and cook. Mr. Wyers loved his family and enjoyed listening to music. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his stepmother- Frances Wyers.

Mr. Wyers is survived by his wife- Mary Jane Corbell Wyers of Columbus, MS; son- Michael Wyers of Columbus, MS, Bobby Wyers, and Brian Wyers; daughter- Penny Wyers of Columbus, MS; grandchildren- Hayden Wyers, Baylee Wyers, and Ethan Wyers; brothers- Buddy (Teresa) Wyers, Paul Williams, Stanley (Joann) Williams; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Forrester, Jerry Wallace, Josh King, Trinity Wyers, Bud Wyers, Matt Corbell, and Gene Corbell. Honorary pallbearers will be Mary Payton Davis, P.A, Dr. M. Ahmed, Dr. John King, Brian Adams, N.P., Debra Rinewalt, Dr. Michael Berry, and Mark Hayes.
