Charles Roger Brown, 59, of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at his residence.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Brown was born August 23, 1958 in Aberdeen, MS to Lalia Lavelle Walker Scott. He worked for many years as a supervisor in the oil industry and later in the construction industry. Mr. Brown enjoyed working and coming home to spend time with his children. He is preceded in death by his wife- Melinda Jewell Brown and his father- Billy Corbell.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Brown is survived by his sons- Troy Brown of Miramar Beach, FL, Stoney Tyler Brown of Columbus, MS; grandchildren- Brylee Kate Brown, Angel Jewell Brown, Chyanne White, Dylan White, Rayln Slay; brothers- David Corbell, Louis Corbell, Jerry Corbell, and Jerry Moore; sister- Sue Corbell Davis.
