Roger "Terry" Russell Terry Russell, 59 of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday July 8, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 5-8 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 2 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS with Bro. Shane Cruse officiating. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mr. Russell was born June 23, 1953 in Pontotoc, MS to Mamie Ruth Alred Russell, Pontotoc, MS and the late Graham Rodger Russell. He was a resident of Lowndes County for forty-five years.. Mr. Russell attended Point of Grace Church, Columbus, MS and was of the Baptist faith. Before retiring in 2010 he was self-employed with Russell Distributing in Route Sales. In addition to his father, Mr. Russell is also preceded in death by a sister-Judy Carol Russell. Mr. Russell is survived by his wife of twenty nine years, Nancy Sullivan Russell, Columbus, MS, daughter-Leslie Russell (Jeremy) West, Hamilton, MS, son-John Tyler Russell, Columbus, MS, sister-Kay Russell (Gary) McDonald, Pontotoc, MS, brothers- Jackie Neal (Kathie) Russell and Graham Rodger "Butch" Russell both of Pontotoc, MS, two grandchildren, Katelyn Brooke and Kenley Claire West of Hamilton, MS. Pallbearers will be Russ McDonald, Drew McDonald, Trent Russell, Kevin Taggert, Eric Ingle and Drew Whitten. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
