A faithful member of Fairview Baptist Church and a proud Mason, he lived his life with integrity and devotion. Roland loved the outdoors and stayed active with long walks and regular exercise, a testament to his strength and determination.
Roland cherished every moment with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He loved singing "Corina Corina" to them as they drifted off to sleep, creating memories that will be treasured for generations. His joy extended to tending his garden and giving rides on his tractor and in his old white truck to his grands and great grands. Pizza nights and ice cream floats were two of his favorite treats, and his warm, social nature meant countless hours catching up with loved ones and friends on the phone.
