Ronald "Ronnie" Bates, 67, of Millport, AL passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Windsor Place, Columbus, MS.

Family will hold a private service at a later date.

Mr. Bates was born on July 20, 1953, in Los Angeles, CA to the late Ina Mae Renfroe Bates and Thomas Hilton Bates. He worked as a Laborer for Beloit Manhatten for many years and also worked as a carpenter. Mr. Bates enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing guitar. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bates is preceded in death by his sisters- Sherrie Bach, Bonita White, and Wanda Bates.

Mr. Bates is survived by his son- Jericho (Carla) Bates of Columbus, MS; grandchildren- Aden Bates, Katelyn Dick, and Alexis Wittke; and brother- Thomas (Tammy) Bates of Eight Mile, AL.
