Ronald Darnell Clowers, 56, passed away on Sunday, November 03, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle, in Columbus. There will be a Memorial Service held at a later date. Lowndes Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to be entrusted with final arrangements.

Mr. Clowers was born August 20, 1963 in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Joe and Vinnie Irene Clowers. He attended school in Caledonia and lived most of his life in Caledonia and Columbus area. During his early life, he drove an ambulance doing patient transport in Columbus. Mr. Clowers loved people and never met a stranger! He worked many different jobs in the security field throughout his life, serving as a security guard at Decatur General Hospital while living in Decatur, AL. Locally, he served as a security guard at Hilton and Master Host Hotel, in Columbus. He also enjoyed serving as a volunteer at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle, helping transport patients for testing at the Outpatient Pavillion. A Christian, and Baptist by faith, he was a strong member of East End Baptist Church in Columbus.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Clifford Clowers and two sisters Barbara Richards and Vicky Clowers.

He is survived by his brother Donald Wayne Clowers of Saint Charles, MO, and sister Helen (Bob) Willis of Columbus, several nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
