Ronald Max Cullum, 86 of Columbus, MS, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 1:30 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Memorial Service will be Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 2:30 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS, is entrusted with all arrangements.
Mr. Cullum was born September 8, 1939, in Moscow, MS, to the late Braxton Cullum and Loleta Jackson Cullum. He enjoyed golfing, was involved with Habitat for Humanity, and was named Citizen of the Year by the Lowndes Rotary Club. He was also a member of the United Methodist Men and served in all the lay positions within the United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cullum is preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Gore.
Mr. Cullum is survived by his wife, Shirley Richardson Cullum, daughter, Janet (Dan) Horton, son, Craig Cullum, daughter, Connie (Tony) Jackson, son, David (Bentley) Bonner, grandchildren- David (Jessica) Horton, Lauren Horton, Caleb Horton, Braxton Cullum, Tyler Carter, Christopher Carter, Nick (Griselda) Carter, Thomas Jackson, Chelsea Bonner, Olivia Bonner, and Max Gore; great grandchild, Athena Cullum; and son-in-law, Joseph “Beau” Gore.
