Roy Edward Wright

Roy Edward Wright, 90, of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at The Windsor Place.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 26, 2025, from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be on Friday, December 26, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS, with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating.

Mr. Wright was born January 22, 1935, in Fayette, Alabama, to the late Jonas Wright and Laura Walden Wright. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wright is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Wright; sister, Jean Smith; brothers- Darrell Wright, Loyd Wright, Dale Wright, and Billy Wright.

Mr. Wright is survived by his son, Joel (Kim) Wright; daughters- Sharon (Mike) Evans, and Frances (Tim) Cravey; grandchildren- Cale Wright and Laura Cravey Guyton; great-grandchild- Lucy Guyton; sister- Karen (Tommy) Little; and brothers- Byron (Doris) Wright and Alton (Bonnie) Wright.
