Royce J Taylor, 51, of Columbus, MS, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle.

Visitation will be Monday, August 1, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Jared Glover officiating.  Interment will be at Living Faith Tabernacle Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Taylor was born in Mississippi, on May 1, 1971, to Mary Boone Taylor and James Royce Taylor.  He loved fishing, gardening, cooking, and playing all kinds of games.  Mr. Taylor is preceded in death by his grandparents – William and Cordie Boone and Marvin C. Taylor and Frances Minor; and a brother, James Timothy Taylor.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Michelle L. Taylor; father – James Royce Taylor; mother – Mary Boone Taylor; and daughters – Brittany (Wesley Burns) Taylor and Chelsea Taylor.

Pallbearers will be Sterling McCool, Danny Boone, Scott Boone, Wesley Burns, Cliff Baswell, and Matt Boone.  Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Romans, William L. Boone, Jr., and Raymond McCool.

Memorials may be made to New Hope Pentecostal Church, 875 Richardson Rd., Columbus, MS 39702
