Rubin Charles Foreman, Jr., 56 of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 1 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS with Bro. David Westmoreland officiating and Bro. Danny Avery assisting. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mr. Foreman was born May 9, 1956 in Columbus, MS to the late Rubin Charles Foreman, Sr. and Doris T. Smalley Foreman. He was a lifetime resident of Lowndes County and a member of Canaan Baptist Church. Mr. Foreman loved watching Football, Nascar and growing tomatoes. He worked for Roy Price Recycling for 25 years prior to working at Columbus Scrap Material for the past 14 years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother –Larry Foreman. Mr. Foreman is survived by wife-Patty Helton Foreman, Columbus, MS, son- Chris Foreman, Columbus, MS, sister- Jean (Ricky) McGill, Columbus, MS, brothers- Phillip (Tammy) Simpson, Pensacola, FL and John Simpson, Columbus, MS, grandchildren – Rimi Foreman, Cadence Forrester and Kyleigh Barkesdale. Pallbearers will be Roy Price, Ricky McGill, Gary Richardson, Grady Helton, David Helton and Charlie Watkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Employees of Columbus Scrap Material and Staff of CCU North Mississippi Medical Center.
